A clear, loud whistle comes from this carved banded agate pendant when you blow into it. Tiny chips and inclusions give it character; metal hardware is neither gold nor silver. c. 1880. Banded agate was at the height of popularity at this point; used historically for cameos, it was revived as a decorative stone. The brown/black/white stripes are fantastic. 1.5" long not including metal hardware at top.
