A big piece of green bloodstone with red flecks is cut into a rounded, abstract shield shape, but it can also be read as a heart shape with aorta-type thing at top. 1 1/2" tall x 1 1/4" wide (big!) with a metal triangular ring at top. I added the matching metal dog clip, so the whole pendant now measures 2 3/8" long. Hefty and bold. I have no idea when this was made. Early 20th century? Dog clip is c. 1910.
