Found one! Die-hard collectors of Victorian jewelry are always on the lookout for an ouroboros split ring - open it carefully to slide all your pendants on, and dangle the whole thing from a chain. This one, with an elongated seahorse-style mouth, looks like it was hardly used (if at all!)The cross-hatched scales still have crispy deep engraving.
