Someone was a daddy's girl. One of a pair of dress clips (the other, long lost) survives, and it's incredible: platinum, covered in 35 old European cut diamonds, and emblazoned with words of affection. This now-extinct accessory was once used to decorate and customize the shoulder straps of gowns. This one must have adorned a Titanic-worthy dress - that's the era it comes from. On the back, it's engraved "Paula Baker".
