9ct yellow gold Egyptian Revival brooch set with central petrified scarab beetle, hallmarked Chester 1911. The color is so off and weird that I was sure this was gold filled, but the hallmarks don't (often!) lie - it is in fact testing 9ct. 1.5" wide.
