It's hard for me to get excited about a gold wedding band, but I speak the language of English hallmarks. These little stamps tell us so much about this seemingly simple hoop: it was made in Birmingham in 1778 (!). The English, throughout modern history, have been meticulous about standardizing their jewelry with these hammered marks. The gold is a delicious 22k. A hell of a wedding band, and resizable too.
