Pinchbeck - type gilt yellow metal, red glass with some yellowing. Lots of rubbing to glass from repeated wear and use over many, many years. Neoclassical "Hope" leaning on an anchor. c. 1800-1820. Fading to gilding. 1 1/8" tall, 3/4 x 5/8" wide seal.
