The One Ring. It was made during England's Golden Age, when Queen Elizabeth I was on the throne. Or possibly it's from a bit earlier when Henry VIII was prancing around in his white tights. Shakespeare was prolifically writing plays. It was the age of exploration, for better or for much, MUCH worse - Europeans were colonizing all corners of the globe. 16th century alloys were dicey, and not standardized well, but we are assessing this ring to be about 20k gold. It holds a garnet like an oval pomegranate seed (which is, by no coincidence, how garnets got their name). A beautiful relic of a beserk era in human history.
