"142134" Registration mark on the backs - these were made using one of the new techniques innovated during the Industrial Revolution - like electroforming - and so there were races to patent things. Illusion / facets on the domed ovals, lots of lacy detail. c. 1880. All 9ct, and someone (not me) added little 9ct earnuts on the back so they don't slip out of your ears. 1/2" x 3/8" fronts. Someone dripped acid to test the gold onto the back of one, then someone (else?) scratched it out to camouflage the dark mark. Not visible when worn.
