This scarab beetle looks to be thousands of years old, excavated from some ancient Egyptian king's tomb. Right? Wrong! Although it shares a shape with the ancient symbol of rebirth, we know it's "repro". Flip it around on the spinner, and you'll see a Victorian interpretation of heiroglyphs. No ancient Egyptian symbols appear; they're just made-up bullshit shapes. The Victorians loved ancient vibes but had no serious interest in understanding the nuances of ancient cultures. It's a whole vibe unto itself.
