This 1870s bracelet, made during the second wave of Egyptomania between Napoleon's Egypt campaign and the discovery of King Tut's tomb, is the finest Egyptian Revival piece we've ever had. It features beautifully worked winged hummingbirds, Etruscan/Archaeological Revival details, and a green jasper scarab. It's a stellar example of the Western world's 1870s infatuation with ancient Egyptian motifs.
