A sunflower, a (Passover-related?) lamb, and a knight's helmet are very finely engraved on this Victorian oversized locket. But the most wild part: the Hebrew inscription. Can anyone translate? I never made it through Hebrew school. As we know, not a whole lot of Jewish jewelry made it through the mid-20th century in Europe, so this piece is poignant and important. Inside, there are spaces for four photos, on the center portraits spin on a swiveling frame. Incredible quality and BIG!
