Keys that hide inside lockets are extremely rare; someone must have just sold their collection because we've seen a handful of others recently. This one is destined for a person with the initials ND. The folding key would have been used to unlock a coffer (aka jewelry box), but the box has long been lost; the key is the only jewel that remains.
