A later Victorian mourning ring with a wide face decorated with black enamel and seed pearls - the outermost pearls are set within the bloom of a tulip, an unusual and rather lovely touch. The underside of the head is engraved: "In memory of HJ Balch who died July 17th 1888. Aged 46 Years".

CONDITION: Very good - wear commensurate with age and use; couple places on the enamel look like they've been repaired; seam on the shoulder from an old repair.
SIZE: 8.75, can be slightly resized, 10mm head, 4mm shank
