The heart-shaped padlock clasp was popular in the late 19th century, but it was produced well into the 20th century. This 9k gold heart is a classic example of the style made later than it looks - in the 1960's. We've added an 18" gold chain to make this vintage hand-engraved clasp into a wearable necklace.
